In loving memory of John Lauer

John Lauer - A Unique Perspective
a eulogy from a friend

A loving friend and a faithful supporter of Gateway Pregnancy Center.

John always said to me 'You know, we're family'. One day soon we will meet again because we're  part of the same family - the family of God.

John faithfully attended many Gateway Pregnancy center banquets and walks. He was a generous contributor to the ministry an a great encouragement to us all.

12/5/18  7:29am:

(From Pastor Noah Fox, Liberty Baptist Church, Union, NJ)   Dear Liberty Family,
It is with great sadness that we let you know that Daniel Bassillo has gone home to be with the Lord.
While we grieve the loss of this wonderful young man, we do not do so without hope.  Dan made a decision as a teenager to accept Christ into his life and now Dan is in the presence of our savior.  The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

11/28/18 @ 4:18pm: Please pray for Danny Basillo, who is seriously ill at Overlook Hospital after an asthmatic reaction yesterday morning. He is unconscious. His heart stopped for five minutes yesterday after admission to the ER at Overlook Hospital. His temperature was lowered to allow him to recover properly.

Danny is 28 years old and we have known him since he was a child. Also pray for his parents, Karen and Michael, that the Lord would strengthen them at this difficult time.

As of 3:30 this afternoon they were going to start warming Danny up at a 1/4 degree an hour.

(From David Drenth)  Tonight at 8:30 PM Mike texted me that there is no change. At 3;30 PM they did indeed start bringing Danny's body temperature back to normal at 1/4 degree per hour. There is good news: A neurologist said that there are NO seizures. So once Danny's body has warmed tomorrow, they are looking for improvement.

11/29/2018- 9:52:09 PM: Good evening everyone!  We just wanted to thank you for your faithful prayers for Daniel Bassillo.  The family has asked that we specifically pray for Daniel to be able to initiate voluntary movement as the doctors have reduced the medication to make further evaluations. Please continue to pray for the family during this incredibly  -overwhelming time. Thank you!  Pastor Noah and Karen
